This remodel job consisted of taking the old pool house/ garage and turning into a guesthouse. The first goal was to make the design cohesive with the newly remodeled main residence. We lifted the ceiling of the building to bring in more daylight and to give the living spaces more character. The pool house interior is sheathed in knotted pine wood paneling and gives the spaces a warm, charming feel. The combined living spaces feel larger due to the high ceilings and the vast amount of natural light. The finished product by Johnson Development Company was very well crafted and now looks like it belongs with the property.
