This atrium ranch design is located in Chateau de Parc in Fenton, MO. With its quoin brick corners, window keystones and tapered Doric colonnade at the front porch this home was designed to be quite traditional. Inside, the formal entertaining areas such as the entry, dining room and great room are somewhat traditional but have very clean, almost contemporary lines. Note the use of glass at the inverted vaulted ceilings and the railing leading down the stairway from the great room to the finished lower level. The master suite was designed to be a cozy retreat.
